Job Description

The Compliance Manager is responsible for all day to day compliance operation activities for Velocitel’s wireless construction and services group.

 Primary Responsibilities:  

  • Assign, review, and track all NEPA/Section 106 (SHPO/Tribal) deliverables generated in-house
  • Review, track, and when applicable, distribute, all compliance deliverables ordered with outside vendors
  • Manage and provide training to in-house Site Acquisition Specialist/Architectural Historian on NEPA/Section 106 regulations and consultation requirements
  • Provide ongoing post-construction compliance training with Construction Managers and Project Managers
  • Communicate regularly with Site Acquisition Specialist/Architectural Historian to gauge work progress and assign site priority
  • Approve compliance related check requests
  • Provide final QC check of all final compliance deliverables prior to Filenet upload
  • Upload all required compliance deliverables to Filenet prior to Greensheet request
  • Submit SOW/request Greensheets using iComply and track all Greensheets
  • Review tape drops prior to final submission to AT&T Network Compliance Manager
  • Order and track completion of RF safety survey reports for all Type 1 LCL sites prior to Greensheet request (RE056)
  • Obtain RFEs for all sites (Type 1, Type 2 and CE classifications) prior to Greensheet request (RE056)
  • Coordinate with in-house Site Acquisition Specialists to obtain LL approval of RF Exposure diagrams if applicable
  • Generate and submit final RF safety audit packages to AT&T Safety Manager for approval Maintain RF safety tracker
  • Complete post-construction filings in iComply for CI110
  • Attend weekly AT&T NE compliance calls
  • Complete compliance-related lines of SARC sheet (GS, RF remediation requirements) at RE020
  • Maintain AT&T new process & compliance database
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in related field and 5-7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience


  • Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant wireless experience and general understanding of wireless networks including neutral host DAS network solutions and/or Wi-Fi
  • Two to four years of experience in a compliance management role preferred
  • Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of compliance management methodologies and tools

 Technical Skills:

  • Computer and Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Working knowledge of standards and regulations in tower industry

 Soft Skills:

  • Highly organized and detail orientated
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets Company requirements
  • May be required to work long and unpredictable hours
  • Sitting at a desk for 6-8 hours a day
  • Working on a computer for 6-8 hours a day
  • Must be willing to travel out of market/state as needed
