Job Description

The RF Project Manager is responsible for the oversight of all phases of the projects of which they are assigned.  This position must achieve project goals in accordance with quality standards, and within the established timeline and budget. 


Primary Responsibilities:  

  • Manage the project lifecycle from sales through project planning, project execution, and handover to support
  • Ensure that project deliverables are completed timely, within budget, and that quality targets are met 
  • Oversee project design, staffing, costing, and manage any potential project risks
  • Coordinate with customer representative for site related activities and maintain a good working relationship
  • Handle all customer quality concerns or inquiries and provide solutions as necessary
  • Review the quality of completed work with the operations team on a regular basis=
  • Understand the scope of the required project documentation, educate others, and take action if requirements are not being met  
  • Communicate overall performance, safety, quality, and production levels with appropriate personnel
  • Metrics and reporting
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements


  • Undergraduate degree and (5) years’ experience in the telecommunications industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • PMP, CMAA, or other project management certifications
  • RF Awareness Certification



  • Must have a minimum of (5) years’ experience managing similar operations
  • Strong sales and business development background with a proven track record of success
  • Working knowledge of safety standards and regulations in tower industry


Technical Skills:

  • Computer and Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Expert level knowledge in RF principles, parameters, and signal flow (frequency, antenna patterns, power-level, modulation methods, noise, etc)
  • Operational familiarity with RF test and measurement equipment
  • Must be able to diagnose RF signaling issues in a live network


Soft Skills:

  • Highly organized and detail orientated
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
  • Time management skills; must be able to meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to think analytically, apply sound judgement, and solve problems


Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing
  • Individuals must have a valid driver’s license and driving record meeting the company policy conditions
  • Must be able to travel to customer sites as needed
  • Must be in good physical condition with the ability to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift 50 lbs; includes body weight, equipment, tools, and boxes
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time on varied surfaces
  • May be required to work long and unpredictable hours
