Job Description

This position will act as the regulatory SME/liaison for the organization and perform regulatory screening on all wireless projects and advise the team on scope required to get an approval.

 

Primary Responsibilities:  

  • Conduct FAA determination using Airspace software.
  • Perform Search Area Ring (SAR) Analysis to determine height restriction to proposed structures
  • Conduct site specific evaluation to determine impact on any FAA or FCC regulations including in depth look at all IFR surfaces.
  • Completion of 7640 forms, FAA/FCC Forms 620/621 and Section e106 system review (FCC/SHPO, NEPA and FAA) compliance documentation for proposed wireless telecommunications installations and modifications
  • File Tower Construction Notification System (TCNS) to initiate consultation and complete follow-up consultation process
  • Review and analyze engineering analysis associated with structural integrity of cell towers
  • Recommend to RF and construction teams the safety guidelines based on structural specifications
  • Track all components of FAA/FCC/NEPA/ to ensure timely completion of final NEPA summary report and documents for regulatory construction and in-service approvals
  • Preparation of landlord and tower company applications
  • Work under strict timelines to bring in lease agreements that are acceptable to client
  • Work directly with SiteSafe and assist in all aspects of project
  • Coordinate, schedule, and track site visits and technical team visits with various departments
  • Prepare and update site status reports/databases, site close-out packages, and attend client meetings as required
  • Provide guidance & internal training on FAA compliance as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years wireless regulatory experience required
  • Working knowledge of government contract terms, FAA acquisition policies & procedures
  • 3-5 years of experience in real estate or land development, to include, lease preparation/review & negotiations, site acquisition, permitting, zoning and title work

 

Technical Skills:

  • Computer and Microsoft Office Proficiency
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Visio
  • PMP certification a plus

 

Soft Skills:

  • Highly organized and detail orientated
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Time management skills; must be able to meet strict deadlines

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets Company requirements
  • May be required to work long and unpredictable hours
